Well, that's it folks! We closed the gates this week. Too many beer cans in the parking lot. Can't believe it's still quite possible to ski the moose or any other trail. However, the bears are definitely awake and roaming and it's getting very patchy in the stadium.

Hi Everyone: Looks like we’re in for an awesome weekend weatherwise! It’s also a full moon so since the snow is still plentiful at the trails and we’ve still got some fuel for PB, we were thinking of grooming for a special moonlight ski! Lothar will groom tomorrow, Thursday afternoon. Meet at the lodge at 9 pm.

It’s good to see so many people out on the trails for the great spring skiing we’ve been having. I just wanted to mention a couple of things....
Half Season Rates
Half season rates are now in effect! We still have many weeks of skiing on that lovely base! Grab a registration form, or sign up online at https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=1407. Get out there, get skiing, and get a seaon's pass (if you don't already have one)!
Snow Valley Chocolate Marathon 2012
The Snow Valley Chocolate Marathon will take place on Saturday, February 25th, 2012, at the Onion Lake Cross-Country Ski Trails. Distances are 1km, 5km, 10km, 15km, 30km, and 40km, all free technique (choose whether you want to classic or skate).

Happy Spring Everyone! Not yet, you say? Well, to me Feb. 15 will always mean spring. That’s the 1st day of the new year that the sun shines through the kitchen window of the 1st house we owned. And the sun has been shining – OK off and on, but still shining.

Well hello everyone, and what do you think of our record-breaking snow year so far? It always amazes me how much of the white stuff can pile up, and there's still more coming down! The grooming pace has been frantic and the groomers are about ready to drop. So say a big thank you to Lothar Mueller, Dean Bergstrom and Anthony Van der Muellen if you see them. They all have full time jobs and do our grooming in their spare time.
