Sherwood tourdesoup2019

All are welcome to join us for our first ever "Tour de Soup" event on March 3rd!  There will be four stations along the trail system at Onion Lake (not too far from the lodge);  participants will ski to any station and will get a cup of delicious soup (bring your own mug and spoon!), and will be dealt two playing cards (optional) for building a poker hand.

Later, back at the lodge, we will have prizes for the highest poker hands, and draw prizes for all attendees and a special draw prize for the volunteers.  Enjoy free hot chocolate and coffee, and snacks, and a wiener roast (for those who are still hungry!).  Contact Cathy if you can volunteer to help out in the lodge or at the soup stations.

Tickets available in advance at Sherwood Brewhouse, or can be purchased at the lodge on the Soup day.  (Non members will also have to purchase a day pass to participate.)  All proceeds will be directed to the construction of a new rental shed.

We have many people and businesses to thank for helping us hold this event:

--Darryl and Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse for sponsoring and instigating everything

--Rob (Geier Waste Services) and Bob (All Seasons Source for Sports) for the grand prize ski package

--restaurants in Terrace and Kitimat for donating big pots of soup:  Hot House, Mumford's, Donna's Kitchen, Big Norm's Bistro, Rosario's, PF Bistro, Rosswood General Store, Thornhill Pub, and Sherwood Brewhouse.

See you all there!
