Hi, skiers:

Just a brief update on some happenings out at Onion Lake.

First, the skiing out there last weekend and this week has been great!  One member reported the best skiing this year was last night.  So don't be shy to head to the trails, if you haven't been out there lately.
There are a few events this weekend to take note of:

The JackRabbit program for kids continues, the stadium is a lively place on Saturday mornings with more than 60 kids in lessons.

The Snowflake Cafe is serving soup at noon on Saturdays, and you have 2 more weeks to get your recipes in for the soon-to-be-bestseller, "Soups and Sweets from the Snowflake Cafe."  See the website for more details.  Samantha and Amy are the contacts for this project.   email Sam    email Amy

Adult lessons start at 10:30 on Saturdays.  Free for members, $10 for nonmembers.

Wax clinic on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., for those of you who want to learn about glide wax for "waxless" skis.  It makes a difference in how you ski!

Monday is Family Day.  The rental shed will be open 1-4 p.m., if you or your friends/family would need some gear to get out onto the snowy trails.

That's it, we'll see you out at Onion Lake!
