Oh yeah, it was the snow bound to beaver route I was talking about.  Watch out on the hilly corners though, and practice your step turns.  The rabbits kids did a couple of face plants. 

So no fresh groom but nice corn snow with old tracks to cruize around in.  People of the light persuasion were able to skate but us big people might punch through.  The 37 was very good for a change and the parking lot was all cleared with easy access for a 2WD.  Felt warm and spring like except for the copious amounts of snow all around.  

Saturday was great skiing as above post says. I know that some folks are suprised by this as it was raining in Kitimat and Terrace. The bottom line is check the web and roads and go out if safe.

The parking lot was cleared and in good shape Sunday afternoon. Skied Beaver, Snowbound. It was raining on several inches of wet snow. The track was a little slow, but the glide improved as other skiers set a track.

Great report! For those of us who can't ski well yet the sheer beauty of it is a big draw and I'm glad you mentioned it. This afternoon was great! A few inches of snow on top of the grooming makes it slow enough for me to enjoy myself more, but I do understand those who wish it were groomed all the time for speed.

The snow was coming down faster than the groomers could keep up with today and they were out the last 4 days in a row - thanks for all your volunteer hours guys!

Classic skiing was terrific today, you can float on the top of it.  It's beautiful on the trees which means wet coastal snowball/snowman snow conditions.  Best time to get out and try all those inner runs around Beaver / Clearwater (Atna, Devil's Elbow, Foxtrot, Grizzly Way, Icy Pass) that you've been wanting to try but haven't because they look too hard - snow is soft and it's the best time to try them this weekend!

Power is back on at the ski trails as of Thursday afternoon.

Minus 22 but fabulous skiing stars were beautiful and it was our own private ski trails. No wax needed, classic skiing... don't think you will get much glide skating...try it out just dress warmly...

skating and classic were both very good today. Minus 5 and soft freshly groomed trails. Looks like there will be great skiing all week.

A couple of inches of fresh snow tonight, but our waxless skis declined to glide over it at all. I managed to glide about 6-8m on that first little hill of the Beaver, but walked all the rest of the way around as if on snowshoes. Weird.

Beautiful night of skiing for those who like a bit of powder on top -- like me! No wind and about -1C under partly cloudy skies with a full moon.

Skied short Moose, great spring skiing conditions for classic, a few soft spots in the center. It was groomed by Cliff with the Ginzu. Thanks Cliff. The groomer was packing trails again Sunday afternoon.
