New for this year, the northern cross-country ski clubs of BC (Prince George to Kitimat) have introduced a northern race series, "Spirit of the North".  This year, our club will be recognizing skiers who attend any of these races besides our own.  You can find a poster with dates and locations here.

This year's Chocolate Marathon had some great fun and challenges for everyone!  We had distances from 1km to 30km (and chocolate for everyone); however, the power was out and that created new challenges for the kitchen and timing volunteers.  Many people went away without their times and results - we're sorry about that!  Without a computer, our lovely new Summit timers stored up all the results, and the times have been compiled!

Congratulations to our 65 partipants!  A great amount of thanks for our volunteers - kitchen people, timers, controllers, Search and Rescue, stadium/course set-up people, and cheerers!
