It’s time to buy your seasons passes for the Ski Trails! Time is running out to get your early bird savings and bonuses. For example, one adult Seasons Pass can be purchased now for $110, that is a $20 savings off our regular rate. Plus we include two free day ski passes with that membership that you can share with whoever you choose, another $24 value. (Please note there is a limit of two free day passes per household)
And this year, we will enter your name in our early bird draws for a free Seasons Pass next year along with a few donated prizes. Our Draw dates are November 11th and December 2nd. One Seasons Pass for next year is available in each draw. This year's membership will have to be purchased to be eligible.
Hi everyone! The snow is finally on the mountains and that means that ski season is coming! (So I went and bought new skis! Yay!)
I’m not the only happy skier around; we’ve got over 60 members already signed up for this season, who therefore have their name in the Nov. 11th draw for a free membership for the 2017-2018 ski season. There will be another draw on Dec. 1st and CCBC (Cross Country BC) will then be counting memberships and awarding prizes to the club with highest percentage of last year's membership totals, so get your forms in (mail) or go online to sign up! Remember, the Early Bird gets the prize!
We have a work party scheduled for Saturday June 11th from 10am to 3pm. Lunch will be provided to our volunteers! We have two main projects, we are painting the inside of the Large Shop that houses the Snow-Kiti. Dean (our Chief Groomer) is overseeing this. He will need two people to assist him all day. We will have coveralls and protective gear for those helpers.
Then we are going to resupply our wood shed, it is now half full. We are renting a wood splitter and will get that done.
Weather permitting we will be painting the railings at the moose hut. And we will be looking to repair a damaged gate on our trails if possible. And as always there are all kinds of odd jobs need doing. These trails and facilities rely on volunteers to be maintained.
Even if you just come out for a few hours it is appreciated.
We also have another work party scheduled for June 25th stay tuned!
All for now, see you on the trails!

Hello Everyone! Just a few items as we wrap up the season.
We had a successful gathering of the skis work party. Not only did most of the skis come back but thanks to Yohannes and Gabriel Vandenberg and Amy Klepetar, they were all waxed before they got put away! Hurray!
Hi everyone! Well here it is the beginning of March and the snow is pretty much gone in town BUT, the trails are actually holding up surprisingly well. A tribute to our tireless groomers and a solidly frozen base! The stadium is going fast but the trails will be in good shape for 2 or 3 weeks. So don’t pack up your skis yet! There’s still time to get in a few more circuits of our lovely trails.
And yes, chocolate is involved. But I think you have to cross the finish line to get your treat!
