Spirit North is a national charitable organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring Indigenous children and youth through sport and play. Spirit North, in partnership with Kitsumkalum and Terrace, is seeking an outstanding candidate to provide leadership and assume responsibility for coordinating and leading land-based wellness programs to the students of both Kitsumkalum and Terrace. The 2nd Early Bird Draw will be held around Dec. 2nd.
Reminder: December 1st is the last day to register for early bird rates.
We are having a (physical distanced) work party on Sunday, November 1st, at 10 AM* at the ski trails. The goal is to remove trees, branches & other debris that came down on the trails last winter so as to allow us to get our trails skiable earlier this winter. We need a few people who are able to safely use chain saws, and others just to pick up wood & debris on the trails and throw it into the bush.
The more volunteers we get the better our trails will be when the snow comes.
